Job Description:

SUMMARY: Responsible for assigned project tasks in EPS steering gear development project. Track international project team and support to ensure time and cost optimal realization of the project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Responsible for completion of requirement analysis and alignment. Works with all stake holders to keep requirements up to date.

  • Support the program manager in execution of project. This may include managing project schedule, action lists, preparation and documentation of meetings, and execution of all program milestones

  • Tracks timing, cost and quality targets

  • Support follow-up of all Project stake holders externally and internally, for example development, testing and industrialization departments.

  • Help to manage internal and external interfaces

  • Support in release of specification and drawings

  • Support in acquisition projects

  • Perform configuration management of the Rack-EPS system

  • Maintain change management during development phase

  • Support continuous product optimization

  • Prepare decisions by providing analysis and data

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:


  • Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics or equivalent

  • Experience in automotive industry

  • Experience in project management

  • Technical knowledge about safety critical automotive mechatronic systems


Computer and Technology Skills:

  • Office applications like MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint) and SAP

  • Program management tools like scheduling, action lists

  • Experience in automotive toolchain for mechatronic components is an added plus (e.g. CAD software, DOORS, PLM, Teamcenter)


Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, business journals or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
