Purpose:   The purpose of this role will be to focus on driving sustainable process improvements and broader supply chain connections from an outbound deployment perspective within the KCNA Supply Chain.   This role overlooks and guides the total health/capacity of our deployment system.  Morphing from standard/health development into more broad and predictive indicators. The incumbent will truly understand cost tradeoffs that are being made (and will need to be made) as the tactical execution plays out.

Key internal customers include NA brand planning teams; KCNA supply planning teams; global supply chain teams; Distribution; Customer logistics; and Manufacturing.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop/own a health metric for deployment to safety stock targets. Similar to capacity planning, the outbound team should understand design, volume, events, health and adherence.


  • Understand and develop processes to review and optimize regional deployment moves at a network wide level vs brand specific.


  • Further develop process and reporting standards to drive Conformance to Source Plan (CTSP) mindset, behaviors and results.


  • Workstream lead for deployment interactions with The NA Supply Chain Operating System.


  • Deployment lead for broader business unit problem solving/continuous improvement for Customer OTIF attainment.


  • Partner with Distribution Capacity planner to problem solve network space capacity issues and identify/problem solve design space constraints.


  • Partner with Corporate Transportation to problem solve carrier capacity issues, systemic failures, and identify design/forecasted carrier constraints.


  • Develop/own health metric for spacemaker moves and continuous improvement.


  • Support the development of a future state integrated deployment model.


Interactions/experiences:


  • Ideal candidate has a mix of experience in Planning, Distribution, Customer Logistics & Transportation.


  • Strong analytical skills and SAP systems capability.


  • Demonstrated skills and experience in diagnosing and resolving complex problems.


  • Highly effective decision making, influence, and communication skills.


  • Motivate, coach, and provide performance feedback to enhance individual and team effectiveness for KCNA Supply Planning team members.


  • Strong desire to create the path, comfortable working in a new role that will have to change/adapt without parameters set.

Job Qualifications:


  • The position requires a Bachelor’s degree.


  • APICS, CSCMP, or other Certifications a plus.


  • The position requires the demonstration of strong interactive, conceptual, personal and functional/technical skills in the carrying out of all responsibilities.


  • Must have a broad appreciation and understanding of Lean, six sigma, project management, and change management.


  • At least 8 years related working experience in managing logistic operations, transportation, supply planning, and/or supply chain process transformation.


  • Working knowledge in planning and supply principles, including sophisticated SAP systems.


  • Proficiency in Power BI and HANA preferred.
