Baristas atake orders and make coffee, tea, and other drinks to customer specifications. Starbucks baristas may also operate cash registers and credit card machines. Additional duties may include:

• Preparing to open the store.


• Taking orders and ringing up payment.


• Grinding coffee beans.


• Preparing and serving light food and snacks.


• Cleaning work areas, coffee machines, and equipment.


• Creating stock displays.


• Keeping track of inventory and placing new orders.


• Preparing the store to close.

Our staff provides mouth-watering food and drinks in a casual, scenic atmosphere. We expect our Associates to provide warm, friendly service with a genuine smile and pleasant attitude. We look for staff who are willing to learn and who seek opportunities to grow. Prior barista, customer service and hospitality experience is helpful, but not required.
