As an Engineering Manager, lead the team to drive projects through the system integration process using your solid people and engineering skillset, energetic collaborative spirit, and results driven work ethic to guide the team to solve technical and logistical challenges; lead and support various Systems Engineering Integration activities such as design verification, trade studies, data analysis, modeling, issue investigation/resolution, and documentation. Help the development and integration teams to meet project schedule through coordination of multi-disciplinary groups by identifying risks and issues, planning, communications, monitoring, and delivering on tasks.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities

  • Support the development and deployment of system integration process including comprehensive integration plans, definition of integration objectives, entry and exit criteria, required progressions or phases, performance metrics, and tools.

  • Identify, coordinate and schedule integration and testing resources to accomplish project milestones.

  • Prepare progress reports for senior management and provide effective communication across all teams.

  • Assist employees on meeting the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, continuous improvement, and goal accomplishment.

  • Develop a strong and collaborative team environment, coach and promote a culture around integration that crosses all functional teams.

    Must Have: Minimum Requirements



    • Bachelors degree required
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

    Nice to Have



  • Experience in coordinating technology designs with architectural requirements and constraints

  • Excellent leadership abilities and interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent Organizational management skills and attention to details

  • Demonstrated experience in product development

  • Experience with development in a regulated industry such as medical device, defense, or automotive

  • Management experience in a team-oriented workplace preferred
