Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Director on all personnel matters and assists with payroll processing as required.
Essential Functions and Activities:
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
Provides clerical support to the HR department.
Assists with the recruitment process and new hire orientation.
Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, and employee events
Provides necessary materials to managers and employees including manuals, employee forms and handbooks, and standardized reports.
Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies, governmental laws and regulations.
Provides administrative support to the Human Resource team.
Performs other related duties and HR projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associates degree in Business or Administrative Support. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
2+ years' experience in an administrative support role, preferably supporting an HR department.

Able to exercise good judgment by recognizing urgency and setting priorities
Professional attitude, demeanor, and appearance, as well as being personal, approachable and having a positive attitude
Able to work independently with good problem solving and time management skills
Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint)
