Job Description:

A Quality Engineer Team Member for the System Team will be responsible for participating in the development and execution processes with regards to test execution and management. Team members will also be responsible for working collaboratively with Software Developers in order to deliver products enhanced with automation for newly integrated

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving automation in the areas of test case development and execution

• Creating, maintaining and executing test plans and test cases to support delivery of product code

• Utilizing automation tools to identify bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code

• Identifying opportunities for code quality improvement

• Recognizing needs for improvement in existing automation frameworks and processes

• Developing subject matter expertise and building knowledge of supported assets

• Analyzing and communicating test results

• Performing defect tracking

• Participating in the on-going organization-wide transition to Agile including participation in delivery teams

• Continuously expanding knowledge in the area of Agile to effectively integrate best practices into delivery activities

• Supporting team Agile efforts by owning and delivering on user stories, features and epics

• Providing support across teams to collaboratively achieve goals

• Participating in performance and scalability testing efforts

• Communicating obstacles, issues and risks effectively in order to identify practical solutions

• Evaluating test cases for inclusion in regression, automation for newly integrated features, and development of toolsets to augment QA and Development testing

• Completing work governed by best practices, standards and processes in support of the System Team with a specific focus on quality improvement in the areas of test management and execution
