Information Protection Sr Advisor - CIP Marketing Lead at Cigna

Job Description:

Cigna's Information Protection (CIP) Marketing Lead will be responsible for leading the development and ongoing tracking of marketing activities for Cigna's US Commercial, International Markets and EverNorth functions. Reporting to the head of CIP's US Commercial and Government Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), this role will also encompass understanding CIP's strategic capabilities by working collaboratively with senior leaders and subject matter experts. The Marketing Lead will act as the marketing thought leader to the entire CIP organization and will have accountability for leading an executing CIP's internal and external marketing strategy as well as providing input into CIP's overall strategic development.

Responsibilities:

Internal Marketing


  • Deliver innovative cybersecurity marketing materials to internal business & IT areas

  • Manage internal marketing governance structure, communication processes and plans

  • Act as lead representative for annual Corporate Responsibility Report and CIP IT Binder

  • Work as the key sponsor for aligning CIP's Iris web presence to CIP's brand and strategy

  • Consult with CIP requestors in every part of the organization to create engaging presentations (content and design reviews)

  • Own CIP's internal brand strategy, including refresh activities and communicating changes appropriately

  • Create executive presentations to demonstrate CIP's value add (e.g. create presentations to Cigna's Chief Information Officer)

  • Work with corporate communications to distribute external cybersecurity news to Cigna employees and SLT(e.g. major cybersecurity breach news)

External Marketing


  • Provide peace of mind to external clients, customers & board of directors by marketing CIP as a differentiator in the market

  • Partner with Sales & Marketing organizations to deliver aligned enterprise message

  • Maintain and present Cigna external marketing materials (CIP Brochure and One Pager) to appropriate stakeholders (e.g. sales) and SLT (e.g. Chief Information Security Officer)

  • Collaborate with the Client Inquiry team and Sales teams to ensure marketing materials meet external client needs

Strategic Input


  • Lead strategy presentations to align CIP portfolio to internal strategies (Enterprise & IT) & industry standards (National Institute of Standards & Technology-NIST)

  • Create executive financial graphs & spreadsheets to display multi-million dollar CIP investment by partnering with CIP Senior Leadership Team (SLT) & finance controllers

  • Analyze healthcare cybersecurity trends to provide peace of mind to Cigna's stakeholders

  • Help define strategy & create multi-year roadmaps aligned to NIST, IT strategy & enterprise goals

  • Develop business proposals with Cybersecurity partners to support innovative partnerships
  • Provide strategic support to senior leadership by working closely with CIP strategy group

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree strongly preferred in Business or related field

  • Several years of relevant experience in marketing or communications

  • A few years of relevant experience in or supporting cybersecurity

  • Strong leadership skills with ability and conviction to influence senior and executive leadership

  • Strategic agility to think objectively and quickly respond to dynamic challenges

  • Strong collaboration skills as well as ability to work independently

  • Ability to lead and translate complex cross-functional initiatives and projects

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to present and develop presentations

  • Strong PowerPoint and excel skills, Adobe products is a plus

  • Creative skillset to help visualize complex information into digestible, engaging presentations

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
