Responsible for supporting real estate closing transactions by providing a high level of customer service and proactive communication to both internal and external customers including lenders, loan officers and attorneys from the time a new contract is received until the file is clear to close.  Utilizes basic knowledge of standard closing processes nationwide to assist in acquiring, analyzing and organizing all necessary documents needed to process closing packages.  Demonstrates basic technical aptitude and knowledge of systems and tools.  Balances workload to accommodate demands of the job and meet or exceeds customer expectations.



  • Prepares title company closing documents in a timely and professional manner

  • Processes contracts, terminations, and amendments

  • Processes and quality checks all documents from lenders and attorneys for accuracy

  • Ensures complete and accurate packages are submitted for approval

  • Orders third-party items/services as required per the contract such as survey, HOA Estoppels, MLS Searches or updates, tax confirmations and initial Patriot Act Search on buyer

  • Serves as a point of contact for internal and external clients, manages centralized inbox and responds to basic inquiries from borrowers, lenders and attorneys to resolve discrepancies

  • Provides lender support; follows up with lenders on packages sent prior to closing and on purchase closings at least 48 hours prior to closing date

  • Builds strong partnerships with local lenders, realtors, and attorneys

  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of closing standards, title clearance, real estate regulations and guidelines, document preparation, RESPA rules, pay off per diems & tax prorations, interest, lenders documents, recordings, etc.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by management


  • Develops basic skills

  • Works under direct supervision with little autonomy

  • Understands how assigned duties integrate within own team

  • Has no supervisory responsibilities; focuses on developing own skills

  • Impacts the accuracy and efficiency of own work 

  • Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems with little or no opportunity to exercise discretion

  • Uses basic communication skills and common courtesy

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's preferred

  • Typically requires 0-2 years of related work experience
