Military.com has a robust audience of military members and veterans and their families. This position requires reporting and writing news articles for Military.com as directed, coordinating with Military.com's managing editor to ensure full coverage of topics related to Congress and legislation on military/veterans' issues, as well as congressionally chartered veterans service organizations. Travel to Capitol Hill and elsewhere as required, maintaining congressional press credentials, and develop source relationships relevant to the beat will be imperative. This position also requires developing enterprise stories on pertinent topics approved by the managing editor and file them on deadlines directed by the editorial enterprise calendar.
