Position Overview


The Director of Intelligent Automation & Robotic Process Automation will play a key leadership and technical oversight role for the newly formed Hubbell RPA Center of Excellence (COE) that is part of the enterprise digital transformation strategy. The successful candidate will drive the transformation mission & vision across the organization, execute the multi-year strategic business case, establish the objectives for the COE, continuously lead automation life cycles and ensure compliance for the organization. This position will continuously manage demand and supply with transparency and ensure a robust operating methodology and focused approach in execution is followed. The incumbent will partner with multiple functional and business leaders to identify and drive intelligent automation and RPA solutions and will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, publication and presentation of performance levels, metrics and KPI's.


Duties and Responsibilities



  • Execute the strategy, drive the vision, set objectives, maintain priorities and lead the COE

  • Define policies, establish standards and maintain efficient and effective processes that cover all areas of RPA across the enterprise

  • Manage all aspects of the RPA team and collaborate proactively with business partners across the functions, segments and business units to find opportunities and deliver value-creative outcomes

  • Defines, assigns, develops people and related skills to support an effective and balanced RPA COE

  • Resolves prioritization obstacles and approves decisions involving core systems and federating RPA capabilities

  • Collaborates with business, compliance and technology to plan, manage and track projects as well as evolving risks and issues


Skills and Experience



  • Bachelor and/or advanced Degree along with relevant certification preferred

  • 15+ years of industry and firm knowledge with1+ year of experience with RPA technology

  • Experience with SAP and Ui-Path

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle numerous partners

  • Experience with business financial management, compliance and regulatory requirements, program management, organizational change and risk management

  • Experience in negotiation and conflict management

  • Demonstrates thought leadership, and critical thinking

  • History of successful delivery of business transformation or IT programs
