What you'll do on a typical day:

• Support the Dispatcher in their duties of dispatching trucks to meet customer requirements


• Make appointments for pickup/delivery and update systems


• Keep track of empty container availability


• Forward Proof of Delivery on appropriate web-billed accounts


• Monitor import container releases from the pier and rail to prevent demurrage


• Oversee and answer daily emails

At a minimum, you'll need:

• 1 year of experience in operations

• High school diploma or equivalent


• 1 year of transportation experience


• Experience with Microsoft Office


• Excellent analytical, communication and time management skills
