Overview
Operational Support | |
Field driver calls regarding unloading fee payment | |
Track and reconcile unloading fees | |
Respond to ETA inquiries from customers (internal and external) and carriers. | |
Assist in analysis of operational performance - provide insight to dispatch team on areas of improvement | |
Schedule all delivery appointments for upcoming deliveries | |
Arrange lodging reservations for overnight drivers. | |
Manage asset tracking and oversight (trailer tracking, yard management, etc.) | |
Manage and evaluate cross dock operation | |
General Administration | |
Photocopy paperwork required to be sent to customer. | |
Order office supplies. | |
Field calls from Credit Department regarding copies of proof of deliveries. | |
Uniform ordering and spend tracking - Drivers | |
Cross dock Management | |
Enter daily cross dock orders into transportation management software (TMW Suite) | |
Work with Driver Managers to schedule successful cross dock delivery | |
Build and develop volume with current and potential cross dock customers | |
Manage and troubleshoot delivery challenges, maintain communication with customers | |
Team CFG | |
Serve as back-up for operational team | |
Serve as back up for live haul billing. | |
Serve as back up for carrier freight bill processing. | |
Participate in weekly Administration meeting. | |
Create and modify Standard Operation Procedures for area of expertise. | |
Cross-train with all office team to be able to flex with demands | |
Perform daily Clemens Food Group freight billings for delivery, shuttle service and pick ups. |

Qualifications
Minimum 1 to 5 years of administrative experience |
Transportation industry experience preferred |
Advanced proficiency in Excel. |
Customer facing experience required |
Detail-oriented with the ability to review processes and identify internal control gaps. |
