POSITION SUMMARY: The CCT provides direct, selected patient care and performs non clinical duties under the direction of the Licensed Nurse within their scope of practice as defined by the NH Board of Nursing, recognized nursing techniques, clinical and administrative policies.

SPECIFIC ELEMENTS & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Collects and reports data as directed by the licensed nurse.


2. Provides ADL needs of the patient :

• Care and comfort measures


• Hygiene


• Mobility and ambulation.


• Nutritional needs and feeding.

1. Transports patients to various departments/services throughout the hospital.


2. Provides patient monitoring as directed to ensure patient safety.


3. Interpret and report telemetry readings as appropriate to the registered nurse.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE: (Minimum relevant work experience for successful job performance)
Less than 1 year 3-7 years
1 to 3 years More than 7 years

EDUCATION:
High school or GED
Vocational /Technical
2 year/ Associate Degree
4 year/Bachelor's Degree
Post Graduate Degree


Licensure:
-NH Licensed Nursing Assistant


SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
-BLS


REQUIRED COMPETENCE:
Adult (18-64 years)
Geriatric (65 yr. +)
