Location: BROOKLINE, Massachusetts
Position available for MD, PhD, or MD/PhD to study molecular mechanisms of lymphangiogenesis, mTOR pathway and lung transplant rejection. Special emphasis on in vivo experiments and in vitro analysis of transcriptional regulation, and biological function of genes regulated by allo-immune injury in lymphatic endothelial cells.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The postdoctoral fellow will lead a project independently with supervision from the PI. Essential duties are carrying out experiments related to the project, drafting manuscripts and communications related to project. Supervise technicians in the laboratory when appropriate.
MD, PhD, or MD/PhD
SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Experience with molecular biology, cell biology, protein chemistry and microscopy is required. Previous experience working with small animals is a plus.
