• Sets up or resets will include removal, installation or adjustment of work blade; adjusting, changing, or dressing grinding and regulating wheels; adjusting rails or conveyor; and changing or turning diamond.
• Operates several different types of machines as required.
• Dresses grinding and /or regulating wheels when required as indicated by size or finish variations. Will change wheels as required due to worn out condition.
• Makes machine adjustments to control part dimensions.
• Uses standard gauges to check size, ovality, and out-of round conditions. Must be able to read and understand precision measuring instruments and part prints. Visually inspects parts for proper surface finish. Collects SPC data as required.
• Will hand feed parts or use hopper to load parts on conveyor, magnetic table or driver as required. Monitors the feed of parts to maintain continuous forward pressure and to produce at the specified rate.
• Performs miscellaneous duties such as clerical recording, material handling, weighting baskets for piece count, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and immediate area. Also, will dip parts in oil prior to transfer.

• Perform first piece approval per set up approval process.
• Operate precision measuring equipment.
