What you will be doing:


  • Responsible for conducting reviews of balance sheets and profit and loss statements on commercial loans or lines of credit, and utilize department systems and resources for evaluation.

  • Maintains borrower contact via site visits, telephone & email to ensure high level of rapport and personal involvement with each borrower.

  • Performs analysis and completes written annual reviews for each qualifying business loan.

  • Maintains and monitors borrower database of pertinent information and log of their contact with borrowers.

  • Create opportunities for expanding the existing business member relationship by proactively suggesting additional products and services for both the member’s business, personal and or consumer needs.

  • Effectively utilize consultative selling techniques to sell all JOVIA products and services to members.

What we need from you:


  • College degree required with a minimum of six (6) years of experience in commercial banking, four (4) of which have been in a related credit underwriting or analysis position. 

  • Individual must function with minimum supervision, have a positive attitude, and impart a team player mentality.

  • Have excellent organizational and time management skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be able to handle multiple projects and tasks and meet deadlines.

  • The individual should be detail-oriented, have an aptitude for figures and function with minimum supervision. A pipeline, as well as marketplace contacts and COI’s, are desired.  

  • Individual must have reliable method of transportation in order to perform sites visits to all businesses.

  • Proficient in math and calculations related to lending. Well versed in Microsoft Word and Excel.  Detail-oriented, excellent analytical skills, aptitude for figures, excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and computer/Internet savvy.
