Data Delivery Technical Lead for Identity Access Management at State Street

What you will be responsible for

As Data Delivery Technical Lead you will


  • Establish a data delivery platform as a foundation for reporting, BI, and analytics

  • Ensure data security is maintained throughout the user, application, platform, and data layers.

  • Design integration with front-end tools (Tableau, custom apps) and back-end applications and data

  • Maintain and extend agile data development methodology in support of both self-service and full-service models.

  • Create reusable semantic and report-specific data layers that are secure and performant.

  • Develop techniques for optimizing solutions, including caching, refactoring, performance, and testing.

  • Troubleshoot issues that may occur within the data platform or in consuming apps/tools and data sources.

  • Ensure SLAs are developed and met for response and resolution times for business-critical data platform.

  • Establish and implement operations (e.g. monitoring and logging) to keep platform stable and up-to-date.

  • Ability to drive the architecture, design of a Reporting and Analytics platform

  • Ability to execute the development, testing and deployment of a software platform

  • Good understanding and experience in Data Virtualization

  • Good knowledge of JDBC, XML and Web Services APIs.

  • Working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL

  • Good knowledge of query optimization and analysis of SQL execution plans in context of heterogeneous joins.

  • Expert knowledge in data architecture and modeling.

  • Solid understanding of SQL and good grasp of relational and analytical database management theory and practice.

  • Other experience of DW/BI is a plus.

  • Experience working with GIT or other version control systems.

  • Provide expert support for the platform

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking

  • Strong communication skills – verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Self-motivated and works independently

  •  

    Education & Preferred Qualifications



  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in software application development

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in warehouse, BI, reporting etc.

  • Other certifications in software development are welcome

    Additional requirements



  • Experience in working effectively in the culturally diverse globally distributed team
