If you are an Information Technology professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Mansfield, OH location, you will facilitate and drive business processes and associated system requirements using the defined Information Technology tools with a high degree of responsibility and viability. 

AS A BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST - FINANCE, YOU WILL: 


  • Participate in systems implementation projects (requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution).

  • Take loosely defined business problems and develop business and use cases.

  • Elicit, analyze and manage business requirements by documenting, prioritizing and communicating requirements.

  • Support data requests for Financial & Information Technology audits, both internal and external.

  • Provide support for EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) process application.

  • Work with database environments to provide data extract and custom reports.

  • Manage third party resources to develop solutions that meet business requirements.

  • Work with appropriate departments to define standards, reviews data set, and cleanse as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • Requires a B.S. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant Business area with a minimum of five (5) years working with business processes and Information Technology applications/systems.

  • Demonstrated experience working with relevant business functions such as finance, supply chain/procurement, materials planning, order management, production, etc.

  • Strong technical skills

  • Working knowledge of MS Office, or equivalent productivity suites, currently in use by the Company.

  • Integrity

  • Adaptability and Customer focus

  • Written and Verbal communication skills

  • Analytical Skills
