Job Description:

Bilingual Outreach Center Coordinator

Open Door Mission is a gospel rescue mission, serving the Greater Omaha Area by providing short-term and long-term shelter, life-changing programs addressing root causes of homelessness and poverty, and homeless prevention resources to those in need.

We are seeking a bilingual English/Spanish speaker to work in our Timberlake Outreach Center. The TOC offers homeless prevention resources such as food, clothing, furniture, diapers, and more! Shoppers are able to come and shop for free once per month. These resources help community members put more of their income toward bills, allowing them to stay in their own homes.

This position maintains the front desk area, welcomes and checks in shoppers, and keeps the shopping area clean and well-stocked.

YOU ARE A SOLID FIT FOR THIS POSITION IF:

• You have a solid, visible relationship with Christ and the ability to share the gospel
• You are proficient with Google G-Suite and general computer operations
• You have experience in customer service.
• You speak both English and Spanish fluently.

• Has experience working with a variety of people, including low-income families or those in crisis.
• Loves to help others and pray for them as opportunity allows.
• Has experience working at a front desk.

THIS ROLE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Determining guest needs and registering them for the appropriate services.
• Translation for guests or volunteers as needed.
• Stocking shelves and racks at the end of every day and as time allows during the day.

Standard Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 8:30am - 5pm
