Open Door Mission is a gospel rescue mission, serving the Greater Omaha Area by providing short-term and long-term shelter, life-changing programs addressing root causes of homelessness and poverty, and homeless prevention resources to those in need.
Open Door Mission is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to oversee the receiving area of our Timberlake Outreach Center. This area receives and processes physical donations such as furniture, clothing, and household items. You must be a born again, mature Christian able to clearly communicate the Gospel as opportunities during the work day arise.
YOU ARE A SOLID FIT FOR THIS POSITION IF:
You have a solid, visible relationship with Christ and the ability to share the gospel
You are proficient with Google G-Suite and general computer operations
You have 2 years of receiving experience, including forklifts and pallet jacks
You are of good health with a strong back
OUR IDEA OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE IS SOMEONE WHO:
Has experience in managing and delegating to others
Has excellent organizational skills
Has experience working with a variety of people
Is able to build others up as well as de-escalate as needed
THIS ROLE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Supervision of a team of Receiving Associates (2-3 direct reports)
Organization and flow of the receiving area
Receipt and recording of donations with a helpful, friendly attitude toward donors
Maintenance of logs and paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
