Job Description:

Arcadis is searching for a San Antonio Market Manager with 15 years' experience, to join our San Antonio Water Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated engineer to join one of the best-qualified full-service water consulting firms in the country. The successful candidate, with the support of a strong internationally recognized staff, will utilize their expertise and technical knowledge of municipal water and wastewater planning, design & construction engineering, along with a proven reputation for excellence in client management / business development to successfully win and execute projects. This opportunity also includes engaging with an established, well-respected team with a healthy project backlog and further developing our growing business in Texas.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Report to the Texas Water Area Leader and actively participate as a member of the Texas Leadership Team.
  
  
• Lead the performace of the San Antonio and Austin markets to meet operational goals (revenue, profit, resource engagement), quality standards and exceed client satisfaction.
  
  
• Actively engage with client account teams, supporting business development opportunities, account plans, client relationships and growth of the business in the San Antonio and Austin markets
• Work directly with clients to determine needs and deliver solutions and lead teams in the preparation of winning proposals and successful presentations.
• Manage and lead the growth of client relationships with preferred and target clients.
• Leverage existing and new client relationships/experience with the local municipalities to expand opportunities in region.
• Foster, grow and coach a high-performing team.
• Actively coordinate with other Arcadis business lines to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and grow our business.
• Negotiate critical issues with clients and potential teaming partners and subconsultants.
• Develop small to large planning and design projects from inception to completion.
• Manage projects in the planning, design and construction of municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, storm water systems, distribution/collection systems, and pump/lift stations.
• Integrate into existing projects, network with team members, technical leads, and client to quickly take leadership of projects and provide technical and managerial guidance.
• Supervise and support the work of others and mentor junior level engineer & design/drafting technical staff.
• Provide technical assistance within Texas on design-build opportunities with support of our national design-build team.

Key Attributes:

• Must have Project Management experience on municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater projects of various sizes.
  
  
• Excellent technical engineering and writing skills.
  
  
• Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills.
  
  
• Client relationship skills; including preparation and development of proposals and client management experience with a successful track record of delivering various engineering projects to the expectations of the client.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years' experience in water / wastewater facilities; planning, design and construction for public and private sector clients.
  
  
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  
  
• TX P.E. License
