The Position: The End User Support Technician will be primarily responsible for installing, maintaining and upgrading pc hardware and software as well upgrading and maintaining any supporting software. It also requires the support of any servers, networking and phone equipment at the facility and Level I- III service desk support.
Responsibilities:
Provide support for office and manufacturing hardware.
Install, maintain, and upgrade PC hardware, printers, peripherals and software.
Must be able take direction from management and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to communicate and interact with end users and other IT staff.
Must be able take direction from management and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
Must be comfortable working in office and manufacturing environments.
Provide level II customer service support via phone and remote access.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree and/or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in IT. Advanced degree preferred.
Years of Experience: 2+
Proficient in PC installation, upgrades and repair
Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office
Travel: up to 25%
A favorable background screening, Drug Screening, and proof of work authorization in the United States is required for employment.
