Summary
 

The role of the Maintenance Purchaser / Office Coordinator is to manage the purchasing of all associated Maintenance spare parts and consumable materials to include the basic organization of all office supplies and management support.


 

This role reports to the Maintenance Managers.


 

Key Responsibilities:



  • Purchasing


    • Direct communications with 3rd party vendors.

    • Tracking orders from time of Purchase Order to full invoicing and payment.

    • Sourcing multiple quotes.

    • Pick-up, packaging and shipping parts and materials.

    • Use of proprietary owned purchasing system.


  • Coordinating with finance management team to follow best practices or suggested path forward.

  • Must keep the Maintenance Management team informed of abnormal or critical situations and seeks advice on matters outside the Purchasers knowledge or authority.
 

Skills & Qualifications:


  • Must have excellent and proven data entry skills.

  • Must be detailed oriented and a self-starter.

  • Must have exceptional organizational skills.

  • Must have advanced operational knowledge in excel, word and outlook.

  • Experience with using and operating Purchasing systems is a plus.

  • A general knowledge of maintenance terminologies is a plus. Will be required to analyze original equipment manufacturer spare parts recommendations.

 

Physical Requirements:


  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, frequently at times.

  • Must be able to lift up to 70lbs regularly.

  • Must be able to work in hot and cold environments to include inclement weather.

  • Must be able to stand for long durations.
