WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

As part of the End User Computing Warehouse team, you will be responsible for the high-volume, centrally managed workstation hardware and software necessary to support the warehouse environment. 

In this role you are responsible for the implementation and support of all end-user endpoints, software and the systems used to access, deploy, and manage them. The ideal candidate will have good troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service skills and the ability to track multiple details to conclusion.

What You’ll Do:

Technical (100%)


  • Manage workstation Devices (hardware, software and connectivity) incidents through to resolution. In the Office environment, the devices are primarily desktop or laptop computers; in the Warehouse environment, the devices are primarily Winterms, scanner, radio-frequency guns, printers or other equipment to scan and record data from product lines.


  • Respond to support requests submitted via multiple channels (ticket, e-mail, phone, chat, etc.)


  • Good skill level in troubleshooting of end-users workstation hardware and software.


  • Adherence to documented processes & procedures.


  • Escort of vendors & facilities contractors within restricted areas.


  • Provide 24 by 7 on-call support on a rotating basis with other team members, usually for a one-week period at a time.


Required Qualification: 


  • Associate’s Degree in a related technical field of study or 2+ years work experience and/or any equivalent combination of experience and training in software, hardware & technology applications: Zendesk, G Suite, Office365, Active Directory, Windows 7, Windows 10 and Mac OS.


  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.


  • Must possess good communication skills - speak and write articulately.


  • Follow-through skills; ability to track multiple details to conclusion; document findings and solutions.


  • Must have a teamwork attitude.


  • Must partner with other departments to establish a positive work environment.


  • Must be able to work under pressure and adapt - short deadlines, late requests, new requirements.


  • Must be able to accept and adapt to rapid change in the IT environment.


  • Act with ownership, accountability, honesty and urgency.


  • Availability to travel (Warehouse Environment)
