The SPA COORDINATOR is responsible to greet, accommodate and facilitate guest check-in and check-out of spa guests by providing friendly, efficient and effective service. To maintain day-to-day cleaning of the Spa, including removing trash, soiled linen and recycles and to maintain clean linen and product supplies.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES, include but not limited to:



  • To greet guests with proper salutation and a smile and to offer them a tour of the Spa facility.

  • To escort guest to locker rooms explaining services and amenities.

  • To clean, maintain, and restock bathrooms, locker rooms, showers and all public areas of the Spa.

  • To accommodate guest needs by booking, confirming or changing appointments, as needed.

  • To obtain correct guest contact information, including e-mail addresses, and enter it accurately into Spa Soft on a daily basis.

  • To assess and correct any scheduling conflicts, guest challenges or problems and to refer to the Spa Manager, as needed.

  • To answer the phone and book appointments and/or relay messages, as needed.

  • To effectively offer service upgrades and promotions in order to enhance the guest experience.

JOB KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATIONAL LEVEL: High School diploma or equivalent required. English fluency required. Must have CPR certification. Requires basic math and accounting skills and excellent interpersonal skills. Must be computer literate. Prior experience with property management system preferred. Must display knowledge of currently accepted business telephone etiquette. Must have at least 2 years experience working in a service related industry. Cashier, computer, hotel/spa experience preferred.

Strong verbal communications skills. Courteous, friendly, and professional manner. Good team player. Customer service focus. Able to work productively with little supervision. Trustworthy and reliable. Must be able to work to deadlines.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Stands/walks approximately 30% of shift. Sits at desk or in meetings approximately 90% of shift. Uses personal computer approximately 60-70% of shift. Occasionally required to handle and move objects weighing up to 40 lbs. over short distances. Moderate to heavy use of phones, daily. Frequent use of stairs, daily. Requires extensive reading and computation.
