Verisign is currently looking for an IT Asset Management Analyst in the MIS team that would support and build enhancements within Verisign’s Aspera Software Asset Management (SAM) platform with COTs/SaaS integration as well as provide technical support to internal business customers. This person will help understand functional requirements to provide lean and effective solutions using the appropriate technology stack in an agile manner. They will also support other teams in testing, implementation, and production support where needed.
Key Responsibilities:
In-depth knowledge of vendor agreements, cloud services and IT contracts licensing (such as Microsoft, IBM, Cisco, Oracle, VMware, Red Hat, DigiCert)
Working knowledge of ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Change-Incident-Problem Management, Asset Management, CMBD, Release Management, etc.
Collaborate tasks with vendor technical support, other internal systems teams, and project development staff to ensure successful COTs/SaaS integration implementation within the enterprise
Support software and web architecture requirements analysis, development and maintenance
Design and develop smart and innovative solutions to satisfy business requirements - Work within an agile team of engineers and systems analysts to develop high quality applications and products in the existing landscape with a vision for the future
Develops deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and platforms within the corporate systems landscape
Ensures key technical design documentation is completed to a high standard
Hands-on ability to build quick prototypes/visuals to assist with high level product concepts and epic stories
Writing and maintaining strong unit, functional and integration tests to be automated in a continuous integration environment
Responsible for reducing operational downtime for critical, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance by accelerating deployments of approved changes/fixes/updates and solutions and automate manual maintenance, deployment, diagnostic health checks, validation, and reporting
Continuing to evolve our application platform to meet scaling, security, and compliance needs

Administer, configure and maintain Verisign’s Aspera Software Asset Management (SAM) platform – SmartTrack, SmartCollect, LC4O, LC4O365 products with ServiceNow and various other systems integration
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) / IT Asset Management (ITAM) domain for both on-premise and SaaS software
Experience working with Aspera, ServiceNow Asset Management, SNOW License Manager or HP Asset Manager
Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment and be capable of dealing with conflicting priorities with ease.
Ability to assess technology needs/requirements and develop solutions to meet them
Customer service focused - the ability to deliver sustained high performance and high levels of customer satisfaction
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner
Work well under pressure with differing levels of management
Minimum 1-year experience with Aspera SmartTrack, SmartCollect, LC4O, LC4O365
Experience with ServiceNow desirable
Ability to break down complex tasks and explain solutions.
Knowledge of Software discovery tools (i.e. BDNA, JAMF, SCCM, etc.)
Nice to have:
Certifications in Software Asset Management (SAM) is a plus
Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge is a plus
Exposure to collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Confluence and Jira
Able to perform the complete system life cycle using Agile Engineering and Agile Scrum Methodology preferably in JIRA
Educational Qualification:
Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent); or 6 years and a Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
