Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Cloud Application Solution Architect who will build end to end solution in areas around Cloud Modernization, Agile/DevOps transformation and Next-Gen Technologies to join our team at DS&T business unit. Ability to work independently and remotely, with willingness travel for client engagements as needed.

Responsibilities:

-  Build end to end solution constructs on RFPS and proactive pursuits in areas around Legacy App Transformation, Cloud modernization, Agile/DevOps transformation and next gen Operating models 

-  Build an integrated solution strategy working across different technology groups/horizontals including Enterprise Applications, QE&A, Infrastructure services and Digital Engineering

-  Design an Integrated Operating model across towers and jointly build engagement level Transformation themes

-  Articulate value in terms of business outcomes/outputs and come with a product mindset to building ADM applications

-  Work with FPA team and each of the towers to review effort and cost inputs for overall solution efficacy, deliverability and Winnability

-  Present and lead solution alignment workshops with our customers

-  Solution Selling - Ensuring quality solution delivery and subsequent solution selling to other key stakeholders

-  Creating collaterals: Creating capability decks, case studies, mailers and contribute to creation of assets 

-  Bid Management - Managing an RFX/bid end-to-end and drive the overall response process while coordinating with various other stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

-  15+ years of design, implementation and consulting experience with distributed applications or systems architecture with minimum 5+ years of experience with Cloud Application architecture (AWS, DevOps, GCP).

-  6+ years relevant experience in Technology/Software Consulting and Experience in Pre-sales, business development, managing  delivery/Program management and Client engagements

-  The ideal candidate will have past experience of working as a Senior Application or Infrastructure Solution Architect. 

-  Have a strong understanding of large scale distributed computing architectures. 

-  Familiar with enterprise technology architecture to frame business workflow solutioning and success across multiple platforms

-  Good knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, methods, and tools, network and security technologies

-  Deep exposure to micro-services architectures, data lake design, container orchestration platforms, DevOps and CI/CD

-  Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud

-  Experience in project management and service-oriented architecture (SOA)

-  Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, technical conferences and development teams

-  Enjoy working with enterprise customers, you will have a passion for educating, training, designing, and building cloud solutions for a diverse and challenging set of enterprise customers.

-  Dynamic, self-motivated and fun to work with. Ability to take on technical challenges and have fun solving business problems with Cloud based solutions.

-  Demonstrated ability to continuously adapt to new technologies and learn quickly

-  Exceptional communication skills – able to speak to large audiences, top executives, business and technical leaders. 

-  Visit customer locations and partner events (Travel up to 25% to 50%)

-  Computer Science, Math or Engineering degree

Preferred Qualifications:

-  Highly Preferred to have Cloud Certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure, DevOps)

-  Experience working on Large Scale Transformation Projects.
