The Go To Market Insights team at Dun & Bradstreet drives data inspired decisioning that helps Dun & Bradstreet to grow its business.  We support Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience and Product.  This role will primarily be focused on formulating, implementing, testing and validating predictive models while also implementing efficient automated processes for producing modeling & analytical results at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Predictive modeling:  Leverage knowledge of machine learning, SQL and/or Python to create cutting edge approaches to predictive analytics & modeling outcomes.  Leverage Salesforce, customer usage, spend, firmographic, behavioral, sentiment and alternative data to better advantage Dun & Bradstreet’s retention and growth goals.




• Data engineering & innovation:  Fearlessly explore alternative data sources and leverage new platforms to improve modeling outcomes, leveraging and enhancing the GTMI data warehouse (Snowflake or AWS).




• Applying findings to the business:  Leverage knowledge of machine learning and workflow systems to bring scaled and automated learnings directly to sales, marketing and customer experience teams in the most timely manner.




• Foundational analytics:  Create scaled foundational analytics that can be used by team members and partners to speed the rate at which analytics can influence business results.

Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years work experience that includes  at several years experience in business analytics,  data management or data science.  Preferred Ph.D. in a quantitative / applied field (Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Mathematics, Engineering).




• Extensive experience with large, complex, structured and unstructured data sets.  A proven track record of leveraging text mining and NLP tools to derive meaning and insights from unstructured and/or alternative data sources.  Hands on Cloud data warehouse experience – Snowflake or AWS – preferred.




• Knowledge of Dun & Bradstreet data is a plus




• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, object oriented programming & design.




• Strong data visualization skills. Hands on experience with Power BI, Tableau or Databricks data analytics & visualization tools is preferred
