What does this role look like?
Responsible for selecting, implementing, testing and delivering the best possible solutions for very large and complex IT projects which are visible company-wide while developing broad cross domain knowledge of both the business and technology domain.

Some of your main responsibilities will be :


  • Act as an IT project management subject matter expert (SME) and lead the support of project management objectives through the definition, development and execution of IT projects in accordance with organizational priorities.
  • Manage the integration of vendor tasks and monitors associated deliverables. Track performance to operating plans, budgets, forecasts and/or schedules
  • Maintain project documentation and monitor and communicate status to IT leadership and key stakeholders. May directly coach and supervise employees and/or teams responsible for IT projects or initiatives.

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or a related field; or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to fourteen (14) years.
  • 10 years of information technology experience; with at least 7 years of design, development and implementation of software applications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Sharepoint
  • Strong analytical skills, advanced system/software architecture design skills, ASP.NET (C# and VB.net), Web Services and integration technologies (SSIS.IBM Message Broker, Message Oueuina).

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience in the transportation and logistics field using Process Improvement
  • Logistics & supply chain related Experience

  • Ability to provide subject matter expertise, counsel, and effectively influence others at various levels within the organization.
  • Knowledge of various business systems in the marketplace as it relates to the industry and/or domain and able to demonstrate and apply operational standards, best practices and align it with organizational strategic objectives.
  • Knowledge of business architecture to evaluate options and/or implement solutions to support decisions to the process.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply the concepts, principles and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge of standard programming languages, concepts, practices, and procedures within the technology field.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to understand integration needs and configure third party applications.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to utilize tools, concepts, principles, and practices of data collection, analysis and testing
