Supervisor, Youth & Family Home and Community Based Services

Position Summary
The Supervisor, Youth & Family Home & Community Based Services will facilitate, coordinate and evaluate the operation and efficiency of Home and Community Based services by providing supervision to assigned staff, maintaining good communication, monitoring caseload assignments, and ensuring quality of services and documentation while supporting Aspire's mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a directly-related human service field from an accredited university required
Five (5) years related work experience (required) with at least one (1) year in a supervisor capacity preferred
Experience providing community based services
Experience with MRO and DCS a plus
Knowledge and application of utilizing social service systems (Medicaid, Social Security, Corrections, etc) highly preferred


Must Haves

Strong ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle highly confidential information with professionalism
Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting
Must be able to respond appropriately and effectively in crisis situations by using good judgement and following Aspire protocols
Must have excellent collaboration, supervisory, and soft skills, such as relationship-building, communications, listening, negotiation and diplomacy
Must have strong interpersonal communication, problem solving, and teambuilding skills
Must be detail oriented, have excellent organizational skills and be flexible
Must possess/maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization
Must have reliable transportation to transport self/others, oversee programming, attend trainings and/or meetings


Background Checks
Employment is contingent on background checks as required by Aspire's policies which may include: Drug Test, Criminal History, Sex Offender Registry Search, State Central Registry Check, Employment Verification, Education Verification, and Professional References

Vaccinations
Vaccinations as recommended by the CDC for healthcare workers are highly preferred. Written documentation (vaccine record) or titres (blood testing) may be needed to determine immunization status.
