An experienced Oil & Gas / Mineral Management professional is needed for Third Party Vendor Management within the Domestic Trust Oil & Gas Services space. A highly technical, analytical, and independent professional with a strong financial and Oil & Gas Accounting background is needed for the role. This individual is tasked with carrying out Supplier oversight and contract management for multiple engagements, as well as preparing, analyzing, and reconciling Oil & Gas Land and Accounting data. Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is a must.
Responsibilities:
Manage relationship with third party vendors to ensure adherence to contractual terms and firm risk mitigation requirements
Coordinate with business partners and numerous levels of management to present issues, make recommendations, and carry out directives
Maintain Oil & Gas Accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing client account, asset and fee information
Identify, evaluate and interpret trends or patterns within complex data sets
Develop, modify, and maintain custom reports and other strategies that optimize efficiency and data quality
Work closely with management to prioritize improvement opportunities

Chart of accounts / General Ledger mapping
Depletion rates and Principal/Income allocations
Producing and non-producing wells/assets
Experience in balancing postings, allocating, reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies
Strong resilience when working in high pressure, deadline oriented environment
Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple lines of business, suppliers and various levels of management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Must be able to work efficiently and independently
Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite of Applications, including Access and Excel
Familiarity with Xceptor, Alteryx or other robotics/automation tools and Visio or Signavio process mapping applications a plus
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance or other related discipline is preferred, or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of Oil & Gas Vendor Management and/or Accounting experience
Experience in a fiduciary or mineral management role a plus
