The Business Service Specialist is a public workforce grant funded position responsible for the coordination of connecting employers in a city, county or region with the services in the One-Stop System. They are responsible for business outreach, marketing of services, connecting employers with candidates and placing candidates in jobs. The Business Services Specialist is an individual contributor on a team that is expected to meet/exceed performance objectives under the contract and ensure compliance with client, state and federal policies and procedures.

• Outreach and market to businesses the services available in the One-Stop System.
• Assess employer needs for job openings and convey that to candidates in the One-Stop system.
• Connect One-Stop candidates with jobs.
• Network and develop relationships with community leaders and service organizations which will be beneficial to Manpower Government Solutions in the delivery of services to the targeted population.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in workforce development, staffing or sales of services with increasing responsibility for outcomes.
