JOB TITLE: Manager, Global Supply Chain Manager, Product Launch

JOB SUMMARY
The Global Supply Chain, Product Launch Manager will be responsible for to ensure timely execution and communication for all product launches and discontinuances. This role is the primary point of contact for the Commercial and Operational teams on product launch status.
This position will be responsible for:
Manage and report on the status of all product launches and discontinuances by region
Ensuring alignment with the Operations and Commercial teams on the status of launches against the committed launch dates
Identifying and driving improvement in the product launch processes and management.
Evaluation and decision making of product launch process requests
Working as part of the Global Supply Chain organization to develop metrics and communications to support the product launch processes.
Supervising and developing the Lead Product Launch Analyst
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible to track and report on product launch status – by Commercial region and by Operation.
Work with the Operations organizations to ensure the on-time execution of all work related to launches.
Participate in identifying and implementing improvements to the product launch processes and management
Networking with global teams to develop understanding of the product launch processes and the competencies required to support launch and discontinuance management
Act as the single point of contact for Global Supply Chain and Operations on all product launches.
Lead Operations product launch meetings to ensure the on-time execution of launches
Develop and supervise the Lead Product Launch Analyst
Experience in a regulated industry (medical device or other)
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Experience in a global role (dealing with organizations around the world)
Ability to work across multiple groups and countries plus broad functional areas to obtain buy-in and support, communicate and provide leadership for implementing capabilities
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Experience with the company’s Quality Management System and process is beneficial
Ability to adapt to a fast and dynamic environment.
Ability to manage both direct and matrix resources effectively
Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.

EDUCATION
Bachelor of Science Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience is required. MBA desirable
EXPERIENCE
Project Management in a matrixed, international organization
Supply Chain and/or Operations experience in a complex supply chain
Experience with a Health regulated industry and supply chain
