Summary
This position is located in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Operations Division, Office of the Chief Data Officer. The OCDO aids the Bureau in its efforts to achieve its mission by facilitating data-driven decision-making and ensuring that the data needs of the Bureau are met.

Responsibilities
As a Deputy Chief Data Officer , you will:


  • Serve as a data management subject matter expert (SME) and provides technical leadership and strategic guidance to the CDO on the development of the Bureau's data strategy, related policies and management initiatives.

  • Represent the CDO at internal and external meetings with Federal government leaders and other partners on topics that benefit the Bureau's data program.

  • Work closely with the OCDO team leads to define, manage and advance enterprise data management principles, policies and programs to leverage the Bureau's data assets to make informed decisions and increase efficiency.

  • Supervise assigned staff, and ensures work is accomplished in accordance with established and emerging policy and practice.
