DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, develop, analyze, and program applications to satisfy business requirements for multi-tier projects utilizing a broad range of technologies. Determine functionality applications through analysis of business and data requirements. Contribute to the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance following the firms guidelines and practices on each step. Adhere to architecture standards, as well as risk management, security, and data management policies. Perform code reviews as needed. Give presentations in architecture review, strategic technology directions, and best practice development. Provide recommendations to help backlog prioritization. Contribute and drive application development. Provide strategic thought leadership to application development. Guide and mentor junior developers. Create and maintain relationships between the lines of business and the development team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years of experience as a Software/Application Developer, Technology Lead, or related role.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following skills: Java; J2EE; Javascript; JSON; XML; web services including SOAP and REST; object oriented programming (OOP) and object oriented design (OOD) application design patterns; middleware design patterns; microservices architecture; Agile; Scrum; test driven development (TDD); Cloud Technologies including AWS; continuous integration (CI); continuous delivery (CD); source code; CI/CD tools such as GIT, Sonar, Maven, or Jenkins; and IntelliJ.Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America's households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
