Demonstrate and provide leadership in the all areas on the shift.   Ensure fulfillment of customer orders in an accurate and efficient manner.  Monitor workflow within the Hybrid, Program, Offline and Dynamic pick areas.  Monitor shipping operations of the department to ensure daily goals are achieved.

Essential Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for directing shift on daily goal completions

  • Efficiently balance labor between all areas of the department as necessary throughout the workday.

  • Responsible for accurate and timely ship confirmation of orders

  • Problem solving and the ability to make on the spot decisions.

  • Ensure all wor related tasks are completed at a consistent pace that meets engineered labor standards of performance/Metrics.

  • Enforce all company safety procedures.  Communicate to management any concerns or violations.

  • Communicate effectively within the organization, with business units throughout the company, and with partners across the supply chain.

  • Must be able to professionally and effectively communicate in a high paced environment.

  • Participate in review and disciplinary functions.

  • Work directly with outside staffing agencies.

  • Directly involved in setting up work for the next day

  • Identify daily man-power needs. (Full time and temporary)

  • Assign daily responsibilities to direct reports

  • Work closely with Management on labor moves between DC’s based on business needs

  • Miscellaneous duties, as assigned

Education and Experience:


  • High School Graduate/Diploma or higher educational level

  • 3 + years previous experience directing people within a DC environment

  • Log Pro knowledge/RF experience require

Knowledge, Skills, Work Requirements, and Abilities:


  • Must be focused and detailed oriented

  • Must be able to multi-task

  • Good management, organization and communications skills.

  • Team Player

  • Ability to support and lead by example in the development of direct reports

  • Working knowledge of warehouse equipment

  • Flexibility in assisting in any capacity based on business needs. 

  • Requires good judgment and decision making ability in a fast pace environment.

  • Work with Management on process improvements

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.  Employee is required to use safety equipment as is appropriate to the work to prevent injury to self or others
