Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

Identify key initiatives and related projects to increase the efficiency, effectiveness and consistency of Medline's Incentive Programs.
Work closely with the Director to translate strategic goals into actionable tactics and objectives.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Engage employees as project manager, overseeing projects from charter to execution while insuring quality content and timely execution.

  • Implement innovative processes or changes that support the goals of the function or department. Establish business case, project work plan, and lead cross-functional teams for the prioritized simplification project.

  • Support strategy development across the organization, initiative identification and prioritization, and establishment of KPIs where appropriate.

  • Use process improvement methodologies to document, streamline, and create SOP's improving the incentives process.

  • Establish and revise guidelines for the payment and execution of incentives for consistency across the organization.

  • Establish business case, project workplan, and cross-functional teams for assigned initiatives.

  • This is a high-level individual contributor role - management responsibilities limited to leading day-to-day activities and outcomes of a group of employees.

  • May be involved in hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree


Relevant Work Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in one or more of the following fields: project management, financial analysis, accounting.


Additional

  • Experience processing all relevant details, understanding and prioritizing their importance and drawing clear and concise conclusions.

  • Experience taking the steps to ensure the assignment/ project is accomplished within tight timeframes.

  • Experience controlling and coordinating concurrent projects, competing priorities and critical deadlines.

  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table).


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • Experience in the indirect management of team members, including assisting in the development, training and assignment of work/projects to other members of a team.

  • Knowledge of SAP and K2.
