Rollon Corp, a wholly owned subsidieary of The Timken Company, headquarted in Hackettstown, NJ is looking to fill a Sales Representative position in Eastern Michigan. This position works with customers to drive annual sales for the territory and assists the Regional Sales Manager. It is responsible for developing and executing annual business plans and developing and managing customer relationships within the territory and represents the company in all aspects of the nosiness management. The Sales Representative leads activites in their territory that support national and cross region initiatives.

The successful candidate will have experience in the following areas:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Develops, manages, and grows intimate, customer-centric relationships with customers across the territory. Leverages full mastery of the sales engineer role and models the required technical and commercial competencies required to build strong customer relationships.
  • Business Plan Exececution and Development:Â Creates and executes a robust business plan each year.
  • Interfaces with key cross-functional areas such as Marketing, Engineering, Product Management and Supply Chain to ensure that customer requirements are met.
  • Develop and solicit business from new accounts.
  • Customer project management.
  • Manage HTD partner business in the sales territory and interface with the HTD sales process.
  • Target key accounts and penetrate them.
  • Increase the territory and account revenues.
  • Plan and organize daily work schedule to call on existing and prospective accounts.
  • Master product information / application knowledge through training and personal efforts.
  • Develop effective sales presentations tailored uniquely to each account.
  • Have an organized selling system with excellent follow up capability.
  • Keep management informed through the CRM system.
  • Manage opportunity list and grow the prospect list.
  • Attend Trade Shows
  • Overnight Travel 50%

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree - Technical discipline or Business
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Industrial Sales, preferably with Automation,Bearings or Linear Motion Products
