The US Public Sector Sales Sales VP will be accountable for our go-to-market strategy and sales revenue for the US public sector. The VP drives the strategy and execution of programs for the federal and SLED markets.

Specific Responsibilities
Grow revenue that is sold into the federal and state and local government and education (SLED) marketplaces
Develop the Public Sector team to make a growing impact on the company and the industry
Represent our company in partner-facing events, as needed; media, social outlets, speaking engagements, and trade-shows
Professional Experience and Qualifications
The US Public Sector Sales VP, must have demonstrated their ability to run a sales business at scale, but also must display a change mindset, bring an advisory approach to the organization, and offer the strategic agility and change management capabilities to transform the business. The ideal leader will thrive in a fast-paced, highly changing environment, and possess strong collaboration and influence skills. The finalist candidate will be a proven public sector leader, one that nurtures a high-performing, open and inclusive culture.
Extensive global experience in multiple sales leadership functions (10+ years), including P&L management
Demonstrated experience (2+ years) in the public sector space with a focus on enterprise technology
Deep understanding of sales strategies that will drive success in today’s world of hybrid IT
Working knowledge of federal and SLED go-to-market strategies
Outstanding strategic capabilities evidenced by a track record of accelerating growth and revenue
Ability to create loyalty, trust and following; can energize people and teams, and make regional and cross-functional cooperation happen
Ability to use influencing and collaboration skills across the organization together with a natural drive to move things forward and push for execution excellence to win in the market
Ability to successfully operate in a globally diverse environment
Demonstrated high credibility and influencing skills in dealing directly with customers and partners
Professional agility that enables him/her to easily deal with the dynamic evolution of the industry and marketplace. Demonstrated executive leadership through periods of organizational change and market challenges

Bachelor’s degree required with a Master’s degree highly desirable
Security clearances are a big plus
