GDIT is is currently seeking a .NET Developer with a solid understanding of ASP.NET MVC, a strong background with Visual FoxPro and an intellectual curiosity to master the framework to support its Administrative Systems Office (ASO) Administrative Office (AO) US Courts contract.
The project involves the modernization of a web-based Visual FoxPro (using FoxWeb) system into ASP.NET MVC 5. The legacy application is composed of scores of individual applications and tasks that support a variety of administrative and operational functions. Applications and tasks are discretely migrated and run in parallel with the remaining legacy modules. Developers looking for continually evolving challenges and a desire to regularly solve new problems will excel in this role. We need someone that has experience with custom software development in large organizations.
