Job Description:

Innovation Principals are expected to develop overarching business strategies for our clients that will enable the Strategic Solutions Team to seamlessly achieve and deliver organizational goals and deliver ROI for each client program.

Principals are responsible for managing strategic client deliverables for TPG's Fortune 500 clients, by ensuring they receive the highest quality of end-to-end consultation. Principals directly influence increasing client ROI with the necessary product offerings. Principal sare champions of the TPG brand by professionally guiding our clients on each of TPG's products, program deliverables and program lifecycles.

Innovation Principals are responsible for developing both short and long-term planning objectives. Principals are expected to effectively organize, prioritize, implement, manage and execute these objectives successfully. Innovation Principals are client facing, interacting directly with TPG's existing clients and navigating current portfolios. Principals are expected to maintain and grow the existing client base and build new business relationships and partnerships across the marketplace. TPG Principals are expected to lead and manage their teams by exhibiting TPG's strong core values, the overall mission statement of the firm and by effectively training team members through mentorship and performance evaluations.

Responsibilities:

Portfolio and Team Management


  • Implement, manage and execute existing and new strategic plans across multiple portfolios
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on time or ahead of projected schedules
  • Ensuring strategic objectives and timelines are defined and met across their entire team
  • Financial planning, including revenue projections, assessments, costs and profit margins are to be maintained, improved and further developed within this role

Leadership Expectations

  • Considered executive leaders within TPG's organizational structure
  • Provide mentorship, guidance and professional growth to others within the organization
  • Conduct themselves in a way that exudes professionalism, one that lives out the core values of the organization
  • Adhere to company compliance, regulations, policies and procedures in and outside of work

TPG Business Relationships

  • Directly represent TPG and the long-standing Business Relationships that the company has been built upon
  • Invest a substantial amount of time maintaining, building and growing business relationships with both existing and new clients, along with partners
  • Build strong executive level relationships with their clients
  • Display a high degree of influence skills to ensure that our products and methodologies are fully adopted
  • Set regular interactions with clients based upon each individual client and their expectations
  • Incorporate timely deliverables, changes, insight, products and developments
  • Effectively communicate adjustments to TPG clients, relevant partners and/or potential clients

Executive Decision Making

  • Make decisions that effectively impact the entire organization
  • Consultation with cross-functional leaders and executive leadership to incorporate valuable perspectives, historical data, and insights to guide impactful decisions
  • Able to identify areas of opportunity within aligned client portfolio and the business and enact prompt action to mitigate risk or delivery gaps

Manage and Supervise Daily Business Operations within the Strategic Solutions Team

  • Developing innovative solutions to improve upon business productivity within their team and across the firm

  • Delivering ROI objectives by maintaining and/or improving upon strategies to achieve the highest possible outcome on behalf of TPG clients
  • Lead a team of consultative innovation leaders across their portfolio
  • Ensure consistent and timely delivery of our software integration, business processes and change management.

Interpersonal and Communication Skillset

  • Create professional and positive lasting connections with employees, clients, investors and partners alike, who interact with TPG
  • Must display strong communication skills
  • Ability to craft and deliver impactful written communication and presentations is a critical component of the Principal role.

Qualifications

  • Business related bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • MBA or Equivalent and/or minimum five (5) years of experience in a Principal or Executive Role
  • 5-7 years of business experience in consulting, operational, and/or portfolio management
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in client-facing position with proven ability to engage internal and external executives
  • Manage and lead teams on product deliverables, portfolio retention and business development
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong deductive reasoning and problem-resolution skills
  • Self-starter, with the ability to devise innovative solutions to challenging problem sets
  • Excellent presentation and analytical skills mastered use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in multitasking with competing deadlines and multiple clients within a portfolio
  • Develop and deliver executive level communications
  • Experience managing, maintaining, and growing portfolios
  • Extraordinary interpersonal skills with audiences of all levels
  • Travel up to 50% of time, if applicable

Additional Qualifications Preferred

  • Experience in Telecommunications,, Healthcare, Financial and/or International markets
  • Multilingual
