Our amazing client is seeking a Market Development Vice President. Key Accountabilities


  • Create, administer, and implement the business development strategies and tactics for the revenue-generating services
  • Identify, evaluate, solicit, and follow-up with targets through multiple sales, communications, and marketing methods (i.e., sales prospecting, attending conferences, social media platforms, public relations, drip campaigns, formal and informal networking, presentations, and other communication and sales avenues.)
  • Initiate and develop relationships with key prospects to identify and meet prospects' business needs
  • Oversee and implement full sales lifecycle, including market research, financial modeling, needs analysis, pitch, closing, renewal, and highlighting ancillary services (where appropriate)
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure project(s) success
  • Promote our client's capabilities and communicate the unique sales and solution proposition offered to meet the requirements of the stakeholder
  • Create and customize presentations and other sales materials
  • Respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs), review Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and other contractual agreements
  • Collaborate with Project Management team(s) to write proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs), including the preparation of project budgets
  • Establish and achieve sales goals, program metrics, and program milestones. Track and report on the progress and success of new ventures
  • Provide specific healthcare expertise and relevant experience into the product and services portfolio and strategic planning process as needed
  • Capture prospect and market needs and trends and consult with executive leadership and internal teams for solution development
  • Support the execution of our client's Strategic and Operating Plans to meet the goals and objectives of the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA or equivalent preferred
  • At least seven years of sales or business development experience in healthcare.
  • A proven record of exceeding sales goals, and cultivating sales leads through multiple development sources
  • Experience leading and executing full sales life cycle (prospecting through closing and retention, and ancillary sales)
  • Experience with patient support programs is a plus
  • Experienced in establishing and filling business development pipelines
  • Demonstrated success in startup, join-venture, and growth models
  • Experienced in and capable of establishing and managing to internal rate of return (IRR) standards, in conjunction with financial models and collaboration with Finance leaders
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting healthcare
  • A self-starter with an unwavering commitment to ethical standards
  • Ability to consistently manage numerous high priority projects at the same time
  • Ability to present a professional image to management, staff, patients, clients, and other outside contacts
  • Exceptional internal and external customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member
  • Ability to lead and to positively influence others to follow even if not under your direct supervision
  • Flexible in nature to accommodate new program growth and change.
  • Fully competent in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Ability to learn and implement new technology systems
  • Proven track record of creating business plans and budgets
  • Proven ability to produce results while keeping project or program budgets predefined variances
