The Senior Manager, Corporate Development will serve the role of: (1) delivering high quality financial analysis in support of M&A, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, (2) leading due diligence efforts both internally and externally by managing timelines, meetings, reports/deliverables, etc. and by interacting with investment banks and external parties, (3) leading select transactions or aspects of complex transactions, (4) playing a lead role in integrating acquisitions , and (5) being the primary interface between Corporate Development and other stake holders within Amneal This role will report to the Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and across functional areas to support the company's strategy for inorganic growth.
Essential Functions:
Actively participate in the diligence process for M&A and other strategic partnerships including performing analytics, market research, developing detailed financial models and presentations
Manage all aspects of a transaction with attention to detail and timelines,manage and coordinate all internal and external stakeholders
Develop a robust system to track Amneal’s inorganic growth initiatives, including tools to track deals. Prepare monthly reports and present updates to executive management.
Coordinate with various functional departments including Finance, Legal, IP, R&D and Project Mgmt. across all Amneal sites to ensure that SBD activities are taken forward and stated objectives are met
Additional Responsibilities:
Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support due diligence efforts
Develop and maintain a bench marking database on all Amneal deals and classified by category to be used as a point of reference on future deals
Education:
Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Life sciences degree or equivalent desirable - Required
Master Degree (MBA) - Preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of business experience required, preferably in investment banking in Health Care and/or Pharma role, with at least 2 years direct work experience on M&A transactions, managing or leading deal process, including due diligence, financial modeling and management reporting
Skills:
Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide variety of internal and external people, both in formal and informal circumstances, and where necessary to gain their agreement and acceptance - Advanced
Proficient in the creation and delivery of influential presentations, delivered to an external, senior audience - Intermediate
