Overview:

As a 5G, CBRS, Small Cells, and Macro Cell Solution Architect, you will be an integral part of our dynamic company whose business is in the rapidly growing world of wireless technology. The Solution Architect role requires the unique blend of sales and technical experience needed to succeed in high-tech consultative selling situations. You will work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment to provide our customers with the critical solutions, products, testing equipment and services needed to design, build, optimize and maintain their 5G, Small Cell or Macro Cell networks. You will align with our Sales Managers to effectively identify and engage the right influencers and decision makers within our Carrier customer base.



Responsibilities:



  • Understanding of current and future landscape of Cellular technologies like 4G, LTE, 5G, CBRS as well as Small Cell and Macro Cell architectures and applications

  • Serve as a technical and solutions resource to the Sales team.

  • Provide industry trends and insight for customer and product offering growth

  • Define high-level roadmaps to address growth areas and gaps in the current and future Tessco offering

  • Assess, recommend, and present solutions to a varying customer base.

  • Prepare and deliver educational presentations for internal Sales teams

  • Familiarity with leading manufacture's products and platforms

  • Collaborate with strategic suppliers to build technical credibility, leading to incremental lead referrals.

  • Assist with gathering, organizing, and analyzing information on targeted prospects.





Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering strongly preferred or equivalent documented industry experience and skills.

  • Five years minimum experience working with Cellular networks

  • Excellent organization, communication, process thinking, cross-functional collaboration.

  • Able to deliver professional presentations up to and including "C" level audiences.

  • Results oriented, self-starter.

  • Flexibility to meet change head-on.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com a plus.

  • Travel required - 25% of the time across US
