Overview
ServiceNow is the Software as a Service (SaaS) for supporting business processes and operations in our effort to (a) transition to a new ticketing system, (b) transition existing SharePoint applications to the new platform, and (c) support the Enterprise deployment of the platform. Function as member to have a comprehensive core team to assist in this effort. The need exists for a release manager/developer to augment the existing ServiceNow Development and deployment teams.
Position is of immediate availability upon candidacy approval by Customer.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities not limited to the following:
Works as part of a larger project team to implement the ServiceNow platform.
Elicits user requirements from the Sponsor's service providers and organizations.
Implements user requirements on the ServiceNow platform.
Coordinates ServiceNow deployments with the Sponsor's user base and internal organizations.
Coordinates releases with the Sponsor's user base and internal organizations.
Deploys new features in a controlled environment.
Deploys applications in a controlled environment.
Upgrades ServiceNow applications (COTS and GOTS) to the latest release.
Upgrades the ServiceNow platform to the latest version.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen.
Clearance - TS/SCI with ability to obtain TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline. Minimum of three years' related experience. Associate degree can be considered with additional related work experience and certifications.
Masters and Higher educational degree and related years of experience preferred.
Combination of experience and education may be substituted to meet requirements.
Compensation - commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated experience with Madrid or later versions of the ServiceNow software baseline
Demonstrated experience in IT Project Management
Demonstrated experience using agile development methodology (planning, execution and delivery)
Demonstrated experience in release, sprint, user story application, and module testing in the ServiceNow platform
Demonstrated experience developing code-based customizations of ServiceNow
Demonstrated experience using IT Service Management (ITSM) application suites
Demonstrated experience using IT Business Management (ITBM )application suites
Demonstrated experience using IT Operations Management (ITOM) application suites
Certifications (one or more of the following):
ITIL v3
ITIL v4 Foundations Certification
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow ITSM suite
Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow ITOM suites
Demonstrated experience with relevant Sponsor custom applications and processes
Demonstrate experience with Sponsor's system security accreditation process
Demonstrated experience collaborating with stakeholders such as the Sponsor staff, IT customers, and other technical and non-technical staff and contractors
Demonstrated experience deploying ServiceNow infrastructure in a cloud computing environment such as AWS
Demonstrated experience integrating ServiceNow infrastructure with auditing systems
Certifications: (one or more of the following)
ServiceNow Systems Administrator
Sponsor's System Administration Certification (System Administration Security Course)
Willingness to attain Sponsor's System Administration Certification
