Responsibilities

The VP of Managed Services Product Management is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Services (MS and PS) product portfolio and ensure it is relevant to Carousel business objectives. Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work cross-functionally, driving consensus and alignment between, Sales, Managed Services Sales Support, Marketing and Operationsstakeholders. Working with GTM GM and the Services Leadership team the VP of Managed Services Product Management must facilitate the product development strategy for each technology area (Infrastructure, UC, CC and Security). Based on that product development strategy they will work with the GM to develop a product roadmap and execute against that. This role will also track competitors' offers and be able to articulate our uniqueness in the marketplace along with managing the lifecycle of our current service offerings. A critical element on the role's success will be building an effective mechanism for measuring, reporting and enhancing the success of changes to or the introduction of Managed Services offers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Sales and Operational business leaders - and personally collect user and market insights - to manage and prioritize feature requests or changes to existing Managed Services offers.
  • Promote the ideation, design and implementation of product enhancements that solve our users' problems in meaningful ways, weighing impact against business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Lead all elements needed to operationalize or update Services offers, closely partnering with key support groups such as, Sales, Managed Services Sales Support, Marketing and Operations teams.
  • This leader will lead the product managers, product operations and delivery enablement functions within the product management organization
  • Facilitate with the GM the process of creating business cases to invest in and be able to properly build new offers. This includes market fit, target ramp-up, approach to build pipeline/sales opportunities, and investments needed. Coordinate Executive review and sign-off of these plans.
  • Own the product roadmap for Services, including vision and strategy for 2021 and beyond
  • Lead or coordinate the creation and approval on all material needed to launch/refresh an offer organizationally - Sales overviews, offer description, training webinars, etc.
  • Lead design, introduction and support for reporting to manage and highlight the health of Services offers.
  • Define and document detailed Services Descriptions to ensure full clarity on service entitlement, and elements needed to support each service.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and stay informed aboutcompetitors and their offering evolution and how this affect Carousel Industries
  • Assist Sales and support team on our Services differentiators and how to help our position in the marketplace
  • Assist the Managed Services Sales Support team on specific opportunities that do not fit our standard Managed Services entitlements.
  • Measure the success of product changes and pursue relevant metrics and opportunities our data and user research might reveal.
  • Get to know our customers and users deeply, in order to understand their challenges and pain points and advocate for them.


Qualifications
  • B.S. or higher in a quantitative field required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience working for a Managed Services company in Product Management or closely related role.
  • Demonstrable experience supportingproduct strategy, advocating for users' needs and working towards solutions.
  • Demonstrable experience on refreshing an existing product portfolio for a Managed Service company.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize workload effectively and independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • You collaborate well with team members from all levels of the business.
  • You understand how to align product opportunities with business goals and support that with thoughtful decision.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, strong project management abilities, and effective analytical skills.
  • Effectively gather requirements and design new processes, troubleshoot, research, and successful introduction of these across the organization.
