If you are a Finance professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson Automation Solutions has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Marshalltown, Iowa location, you will Manage North America on all financial aspects of business and be a main contact with key customers: North America management and their teams, as well as worldwide, and site finance staff with regards to financial expectations and results. Assist in leading the finance team by working on and managing financial, strategic plan, budgets, monthly closes, and ad hoc requests. Perform financial analysis of actual performance and business plans. Also, recommend and implement appropriate methods and techniques to be applied by the company in financial analysis and reporting. 
 
YOU WILL: 



  • Manage North America financial results reporting process and POR expected for the world area, including leading preparation for/participation in monthly reviews and annual budget meetings and planning cycle requests, as necessary.



  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements, safeguarding division assets.



  • Manage and advise with financial planning, forecasting and budgeting for the world area to assist in achievement of profit goals. In addition, provide leadership in development and execution of strategic plan.



  • Manage transfer price setting for world area, exception discussions, and annual transfer price review package for tax department.



  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate methods and techniques for financial evaluation of projects and be eager to accept stretch assignments and ad hoc projects, as needed.



  • Develop and implement operational, trend and outlier analyses; providing recommendations for process improvements and changes to support alignment with company goals and objectives.



  • Manage direct reports, actively engage in their development and offer leadership within the North America and Marshalltown Fisher Finance/Accounting teams.



  • Encourage an atmosphere of teamwork, safety, creativity, trust and respect.  Establish and maintain positive working relationships across finance and other functional areas to enhance organizational effectiveness.Top of Form

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:



  • Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance and Accounting; or equivalent experience. MBA/CPA/CMA preferred



  • 8+ years prior experience in Financial Analysis and Accounting with experience effectively leading people and managing the intricacies of a dynamic organization.



  • Application of knowledge gained concerning balance sheets, P&L's, and other financial statements to complete required financial analysis.



  • Strong IT skills (including Microsoft Office, including Power Point, HFM, and Oracle) are also necessary



  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate with senior levels in the organization.  



  • Ability to think critically, highly-driven and self-motivated.



  • 5% travel.
