Job Description:

Warehouse Coordinator

A coordinator manager is assigned to a facility or several facilities depending on the headcount and the Customer’s needs. He/She will assist with Recruiting and Orientations, explains the positions to new employees, works closely with Customer/Operations regarding Safety (including regulatory and PIT), Productivity, Errors tracking, Attendance etc. Helps roll-out new initiatives and make’s himself/herself available to the customer when needed. Controls timekeeping systems and payroll input.

Job Responsibilities:

• Site Visits – Meets weekly with assigned accounts or Site Visit. Ask how things are going, reviews productivity numbers, error reports etc.


• Performs Safety meetings, weekly/monthly as needed. Oversees our Pre & Near Miss Programs, Training Sessions and documents adherence to programs, policies and processes.


• Looks for additional needs/positions/concerns of the facilities


• Build a relationship with Belmar Associates, they will keep him/her in the know.


• Works with Recruiters sourcing and hiring New Associates


• Scout new accounts and turn in one lead per week to Sales.


• Will learn the DockLink Programs to be Data Knowledge Expert Back-up


• Typical day is 1 p to 8:30p but this position should be considered a 24/7 job with several accounts. A day of the week may be set aside to visit other accounts and their Associates. Employees or Customers may call with information as it relates to any shift regarding Safety, Incident/Accident Investigations etc. Safety is a top priority and should be considered job 1!


• This individual should be available for travel, starting up new accounts in other states.

Qualifications:

• Must have clean driving record


• Warehouse Distribution experience a must


• Productivity Order Selection experience needed


• Familiar with Warehouse Sanitation (GMP & Master Sanitation List) knowledge


• Minimum of 3 years Lead/Supervisor Experience in the Distribution field


• Bilingual a Plus


• Other duties may be assigned as Business needs change


• Comfortable with computers and programs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
