The Sr. Systems Analyst works closely with members of the Purchasing Systems & Processes team, as well as corporate Information Systems (IS), in support of Purchasing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. The key deliverables are to generate improvements through the creation of new and improved BI reports and dashboards, maintain BI data integrity, and drive overall adoption of BI solutions in the Purchasing community.

Job Responsibilities:

•Creates strategic BI path for Purchasing.

•Coordinates activities and projects with the IS team as it relates to Purchasing BI solutions, data management, and data integrity.

•Benchmarks best practices and recommends enhancements.

•Collaborates with Purchasing to generate improvement ideas, map business processes, and create timelines for new and improved BI solutions.

•Captures business requirements, completes project planning, and manages Purchasing BI projects from initiation to implementation.

•Defines test cases for Purchasing and manages user acceptance testing.

•Develops process guides for Purchasing users.

•Leads the training and use of Purchasing BI tools, reports, and dashboards.

•Supports other Purchasing systems, tools, and applications as needed.

•Bachelor's Level Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field required.

•Minimum of 3 years Information Systems experience required. 5+ years preferred.

•Experience in working with databases and data modeling

•Preferred experience in programing language (C#, Java, VB, etc.)

•Preferred experience in analytics and reporting tools (such as SSRS, Power Query/Pivot/View, and Qlik Sense)

•Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

•Strong analytical/problem solving and interpersonal skills

•High degree of flexibility and creativity

•Solid communication and presentation skills
