Job Description:

Arcadis seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team in Chicago, IL.

In this role, you will become a member of a talented team of professionals that focus on delivering outstanding client service, helping them program, plan, and deliver a variety of building types. Our ideal candidate will have experience working on vertical construction projects. You will have opportunities to use your knowledge of project management to take projects from inception to completion, working closely with clients and end users, demonstrating a strong understanding of the process. We're looking for candidates that want to change the industry through determination, education, and leadership.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Participate in the development of the strategic plan and related planning efforts to support program initiatives

  • Establish work schedules and staffing for each phase of the program/project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel

  • Manage client relationships, represents the client's interest while maintaining and developing business relationships and new business opportunities

  • Provide supervisory management, including mentoring, development, performance evaluations and work assignments

  • Manage personnel to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority

  • Provide technical advice, resolve problems

  • Assist in growing client accounts or leading growth of new clients


Key attributes:

  • Experience in a supervisory role leading teams.

  • Experience creating project schedules and cost estimates.

  • Experience working with working on public projects.

  • Self-Motivated, team-oriented and flexible individual must possess the initiative and ability to tackle new projects and challenges daily.

  • Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, Excel)

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

  • 10 years of relevant construction experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Licensure RA, PE

  • CCM or PMI Certification

  • 15 Years' experience.
